She is an alumna of the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology. While there, she served as a USF Ambassador, an undergraduate research assistant in the cellular biology laboratories, a USF Emerging Leader, and was the recipient of the Outstanding Senior Award.
She completed her graduate work at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant studies and a Master of Public Health.
She is an avid lover of animals, art, music, and enjoys baking.
